Jack Ezell

Jack’s family and friends say he was the kindest and friendliest person they ever knew. He always had a smile on his face and you knew he was glad to see you.

Jack attended Lakeview schools and graduated from Lakeview High School. He also attended Middle Tennessee State University and earned an Associates’ Degree from Chattanooga State Technical Community College.

Jack was an avid athlete all through his childhood and young adult years, participating in football, basketball, track, and baseball. He also coached several elite adult softball teams which won several championships. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. He was a member of the North Georgia Officials Association for 25 years.

Jack was preceded in death by his father and mother, Oliver Ezell and Hilda Griffin Ezell. He is survived by two sisters, Dianne Ezell Ballew and Mary Ezell Jones, and two brothers, Greg Ezell and Gene Ezell.

Funeral services will be held at the East Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road at 4 PM on Friday, January 7 with the Rev. Clair Sauer officiating. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 4 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
