Gordon W. Smith, 96, of East Ridge passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was retired from Bechtel Power Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alma Barrett Smith; a grandson, Richard Osmer; three sisters, Mae Clayton, Bertha Holder and Ann Irwin; one brother, Billy Smith.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Smith of East Ridge.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Minister George Cupp officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Monday at the funeral home.
