Eldridge C. Harris, 90, of East Ridge, TN passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Harris owned AAA Monument Company in Lafayette, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Hollie Harris; one brother, James Harris; two sisters, Inez Dewberry and Dee Willard.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Edna Sisemore Harris; one son, James Paul Harris; one daughter, Elaine (Eddy) Smith; one granddaughter, Emily Smith; one sister, Virginia Hall; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Friday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM– 12:30 PM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Kidney Foundation 2300 E. 3rd Street, Chattanooga, TN 37404 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
