Dolores Butler Haun

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Grace Butler, brothers Ted, George and Craig Butler, sisters Pat Davis, Lorraine Johnson, and Felicia Geer.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of nearly 77 years Robert Fred Haun (Chattanooga), daughter Donna Haun Baker of Chattanooga, Craig Haun (Bonnie) of Marietta , Ga.; Grandchildren Karen B Curtis (Tippy), Nicholas Haun (Chelsey), Christopher Lewis (Taylor) and Jessie Ponder; great grandchildren, Courtney Curtis, Porter Curtis and Steven Curtis .

She was the oldest of 13 children and leaves behind 6 siblings Gloria, David (Peggy), Jim, John (Dottie), Teresa (John) and Karen (Buck). She has over 100 nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was born at home November 8, 1927 in Bulls Gap, Tn. She and her family moved to Chattanooga in 1958 and joined Ridgeview Baptist Church.

She was a lifelong homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

The family wishes to thank Monica Gates for her care and Hospice of Chattanooga.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Bruce Sloan officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
