Cynthia Vickery Jenkins

Cynthia Vickery Jenkins, 88, of East Ridge passed away on November 4, 2024. She was born in Union S.C. on September 20, 1936, to the late, Eugene Willis and Hazel Fairluna Greene. She worked as a Dental Lab Assistant at Collegedale Dental Lab until her retirement. Cynthia was a member of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church in East Ridge for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Cynthia was predeceased by her 1st husband, Joe Vickery, her son, Chuck Vickery and her 2nd husband, Cecil Jenkins, her aforementioned parents, and siblings, Jerry Lewis, Bobby Beck, Aleta Kinnett, Rhonda Latreille, Sput Donovan, Brenda Holloway and Lillie Greene Hawkins.

She is survived by her daughters, LaDonna V. Rider and Angela V. (Mike) Pryor, her grandchildren, Erik (Courtney) Rider, Ashleigh Rider (Tracy) Trivette, Lindy Pryor (Steven) Sidelsky, Chad (Chantal) Pryor, and Sandy Pryor (Sam) Nash, great-grandchildren, Dax and Hunt Rider, Trevor and Ryleigh Trivette, Samuel and Sadie Sidelsky, and Calloway Pryor, her sister, Janie Holloway, and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She looked forward to visits from these step-great-grandchildren who came often, Harper Anderson, Britton Anderson, Maliri Rider and Teagan Dunn. They loved her and she loved them very much.

A private graveside service will be held in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South with Cynthia’s Grand-Son-In-Law, Pastor Tracy Trivette officiating.
