John Neal Bagley, 55, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, June 15, 2012 after a brief illness. A lifetime resident of East Point, Georgia, he was a retired pharmacist. Neal graduated from Headland High School and earned degrees from the Mercer University and University of Georgia School of Pharmacy. He is survived by his brothers William V. Bagley, Jr. and Craig A. Bagley, sister-in-law Sandra M. D’Souza, nephew Andrew W. Bagley, and niece Melissa R. Bagley. Neal was predeceased by his parents William V. Bagley and Helen Pyles Bagley. He is remembered for his warmth, optimism, sense of humor, and kindness.
Visitation for Neal will be at 6-8 pm, Sunday, June 17 at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, 2968 East Point Street, East Point, GA 30344 and there will be a graveside service at 11 am on Monday, June 18 at Hillcrest Cemetery, also in East Point. The family requests in lieu of flowers please remember Neal through a donation to the American Cancer Society or other charity of your choice.
