Wilma Jean Moulton

Wilma Jean Moulton, 92, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in the memory unit at Accolade Healthcare of Peoria. She was born on July 19, 1929 in Fairbury to Charles and Alice (Hornsby) Eames. She married Robert Moulton on February 25, 1950; he preceded her in death on November 4, 2003 in East Peoria.

She is survived by her son Jim (Joyce) Moulton of Vancouver, WA; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey (Tammy) Moulton; one daughter, Janet (Toby) Talley and one great-grandson, Jeffrey Carrow.

Wilma took care of her family. She was a loving wife to her husband, Bob, nursing him through a terminal illness. Wilma was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She opened her heart and her home to help each generation be able to live their lives to their fullest potential.

Remmert Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Pastor Steve Weber will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
