Survivors include: three children, Robyn(Dan) Flake, Dale(Wendy) Lappin, Chris(Stephanie) Lappin; 3 siblings Richard(Lori) Lappin, Rita Lappin, Sherry(Randy) Hess; 3 grandchildren Byron, Tyler, Treasa; nephews Aram, John, Chris, Pat (Cynthia), Joey (Tina); niece Jessica; Great nephews: Landen, Jenzin, two great-nieces, Jaylynn, Lauressa; and best friend Michelle & her daughters, Brittany, Makayla, Haley.
Randy was a handyman, loved household projects, doing yardwork & owned a painting business for over 15 years. He cherished spending time with his kids & grandkids. Other pastimes included watching wrestling & listening to classic rock music, especially ACDC. His ‘76 Chevy truck was one of his most prized possessions though he had not driven it or his motorcycle for years.
A funeral service will be Thursday Oct. 20, 2022 at 3 p.m. at the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. A visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or the Gift of Hope Foundation.
