Peggy E. Ahten, 78, of East Peoria, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in Peoria.
She was born on July 16, 1944 in Peoria, IL to Arthur and Rosalie (Combs) Ahten Sr.. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were eight brothers, Ernest, William, Larry, Arthur Jr., Robert, James, Donald and Frederick Ahten.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Peggy worked as a Unit Clerk at OSF St. Francis Medical Center for many years before retiring. She enjoyed genealogy and researching her family history.
A visitation will be on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 4 to 6 pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. A private burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
