She was born August 27, 1922 in Princeville, IL to John and Veronica (Loescher) Ludolph. She married Raymond Yaunk on November 24, 1941 in Palmyra, MO. He passed away November 10, 1982 in Iowa City, Iowa. She is also preceded in death by her parents, one son, James Yaunk, one great-granddaughter, Kendall Light, two sisters: Mary Ludolph, Margie Hines, and five brothers: Ed, Ben, Bob, Howard, and Jerry Ludolph.
Survivors include five children: Janet R. Murnan of Chillicothe, Jean A. Yaunk of East Peoria, John R. (Brenda) Yaunk of East Peoria, Joan A. (Kevin) McMullen of East Peoria, Julia A. (Richard) Davis of Washington, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Helen Catton of Sunnyland.
Pearl was a Cashier for Super X Drug Store in Sunnyland during the 1970’s.
She was a member of St Monica’s Catholic Church in East Peoria. While at St Monica’s she was a member of the Ladies guild, and bowled on St Monica’s bowling team.
A funeral mass will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St Monica’s Catholic Church in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at church. Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria.
