Margaret A Hutt

She was born Jan. 18, 1927 in Peoria to Harry and Faye (Hamilton) Johnson. She married Frederick “Fritz” Hutt on Dec. 4, 1948 in East Peoria. He passed away March 24, 2015 in East Peoria.

Survivors include two daughters: Gail (Randy) Long of Tremont, Janet (Dave) Boeker of Morton, one son, Steve (Dolores) Hutt of Washington, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Margaret worked as a Secretary at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria then later was an accountant for Clifton Gunderson Accounting until her retirement.

She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of the Spring Bay VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.

Memorials May be made to the Central Illinois Alzheimer’s Chapter.
