Janice Kay Zuspann, 76, of Morton, formerly of East Peoria, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on January 11, 1948 in Monmouth, a daughter of Raymond Earl and Henrietta Mae (Yeakey) Milliron. Janice married Michael Leonard Zuspann on May 13, 1967 in Roseville. He survives.
She is also survived by her three daughters, Rebecca (Rolly) Jarvis of Bradenton, Florida, Heather (Daniel) Lennox and Angela (Jeff) Wagner of Carol Stream; three grandchildren, Ryan Lennox, Brant Lennox and Owen Wagner; one sister, Karen (David) Sheik of Machesney Park; and one brother, Dallas (Karen) Milliron of LeClaire, Iowa.

She graduated from Midstate College in Peoria in June 1967.
Janice was a homemaker until her youngest daughter started school. She worked for the United States Social Security Administration Office of Hearing and Appeals, retiring in July 2011.
She made many friends over the years. Janice loved having a garden. Every year at harvest time, she and her husband would spend hours canning green beans and tomatoes. She loved to crochet, knit and would sew (if absolutely necessary). Janice liked to bake, make candies and always hosted the family Thanksgiving dinner. She and her husband enjoyed driving around the countryside whether it be taking the girls to their softball tournaments, watching the grandkids at their events, or just going for a ride to enjoy the scenery. She loved to see the eagles along the Illinois River.
Janice's graveside service will be private at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital - Peoria Affiliate Clinic.
