Janice Eva Walker

She was born on January 1, 1950 in Bedford, England to Herbert Roy and Eva A. (Palmer) Taylor. She married John Walker on June 15, 1968 in Marston-Moreteyne, England, and celebrated 53 years of marriage. He survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Gail (Paul) Montgomery of Grand Rapids, MI, Alison (Rodney) Knee of Peoria, Samantha (Scott) Toft, and Suzanne Walker-Cortez both of East Peoria; ten grandchildren, Megan, Jay, Dominic, Taylor, Kyle, Alexis, Monique, Piper, Grayson, and Oliver; six great-grandchildren, and five siblings, Glenis, Susan, Elizabeth, Amanda, and Christopher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandchild, Dakota.

Janice worked for many years at as a Front Desk Manager for the Continental-Regency Hotel in Peoria. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She loved doing crafts, traveling with her sister Mandy, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. They all loved grandma very much.

A visitation will be on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 4 to 6 pm with service starting at 6 pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
