Betty Marie Snyder

She was born May 8, 1924 in Peoria, IL to James and Violet (Kiesewetter) Palmer. She married James E. Miller who preceded her in death. She later married Rudolph "Rudy" Snyder on August 9, 1974 in Pekin. He preceded her in death on February 7, 2017. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one son, Michael Miller, two brother, and one sister.

Surviving are four children, Bonnie (Michael) Anderson of Eugene, OR, Cindy Miller of Green Valley, IL, Patrick "Pat" (Sheila) Miller of Pekin, and Robin (Maurine) Miller of Virginia. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one brother, Frank Wolford Palmer of Chicago, IL.

Betty worked as a Waitress at Hauser Cafe in Morton and then later as a CNA for Apostolic Christian Restmor Nursing home in Morton. She was a member of Crosspoint Church in East Peoria and the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.

A private family service will be held with burial to follow at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Remmert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
