Terry Eugene Bray was born to the late Earl and Lola Bray, a coal miner and a homemaker, in Harlan County, Kentucky on August 25, 1946. He picked up his love for playing guitar from a long line of musicians in the family. When he was a young boy, he picked up a guitar and never put it back down. After the family moved to Michigan, he continued his love for music and family. Music was his first love and he was very passionate about his music.
On March 6, 1992 in Virginia, Terry and Peggy Rosalie Bray (Hileman) were married. Together they had a an amazing, vast, wonderful family.

Terry started a career working for Michigan State University, where he started as a cook and retired from the maintenance department.
He was very special to everyone. His heart was so big and family was everything. Family always came first to him. When his parents passed he became the patriarch of the family. He was a father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be so dearly missed by his loved ones. Such an amazing man who left a legacy of family, music and love.
Our hearts are broken, but we know he is at peace.
