Patricia Anne Walsh (Stump) passed away at the age of 86 in East Lansing, Michigan. She was born to Mildred and Kenneth Stump on May 19th 1937 in Unity Ohio. She married George Walsh in February of 1965.
Her educational accomplishments were many. She received her Bachelors from Oberlin University, her Masters from Indiana University, and her PhD in philosophy from Michigan State University.
She had a lifelong career in education and retired from Michigan State University as an Associate Professor and Assistant to the Provost Emeritus.
She belonged to many clubs and organizations over the years. She was part of numerous organizations in the areas of speech and audiology. She volunteered at WKAR talking books. She was also a long time member of the Altrusa Club and the University Club. She was an active participant in the Coral Gables Breakfast Group.
Patricia is pre-deceased by her husband, George Walsh in 2014, siblings Sara Kearsley and Robert Stump. Parents Mildred and Kenneth Stump.
She is survived by siblings- Kenneth Stump (Lucille), Marjorie Mitchell (James), Carolyn Savage (David) and Richard Stump (Lee). Her sister-in-laws Cynthia Walsh and Lauree Roney. Nieces Christina (Michael) Grooms, Amberlee (Mark) McCloud, Tara (Michael) Stump. Nephews David (Lorie) Stump, Geoff (Blanca) Savage, Timothy (Tiffany) Savage. Special friend and companion Fred Ruppert. Furry friends and family- Billy Walsh (feline friend), Luna O’Neill (canine friend), and Mac Walsh (canine friend).
