Bonnie Lynn Alden

Bonnie was born on August 16, 1956 to Lloyd and Marjorie Smith of Lansing, Michigan.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Smith; mother, Marjorie (Ringle) Smith; stepmom, Sarah Smith; stepdad, Dale Ringle; brothers, Steven and Daniel Smith; and special friend, Jean Mooney.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Karen (Jay) Struble of Lansing, Michigan; son, Randy (Wendy) Alden of Lansing, Michigan; grandsons, Ethan and Preston Alden; brothers, Wayne (Holly) Smith, Kevin (Ann) Ringle, Dean (Laura) Ringle, and Darrel (Kay) Ringle; sisters, Nancy Wagner, Sharon (Rick) Khouri, Dawn (Jim) Parks, Shirley (Don) Porter, Delores (Gary) Sadowsky, and Doris Essenberg; and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie loved spending time with her family, she loved her animals, and she loved reading her bible, listening to Christian music, and watching westerns.

A visitation for Bonnie will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823. A funeral service will occur on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 1:00 PM, with a one-hour prior visitation from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, at the funeral home. A graveside service for Bonnie will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Munger Cemetery, 440 N Michigan Rd. (M-99), Eaton Rapids, MI 48827.
