Betty Lou (Hoppough) Hall

Betty Lou (Hoppough) Hall, age 81 passed away peacefully on 1 April 2024 at The Willows in Lansing MI. Betty was born Oct 25th, 1942, in Ionia MI to Frank and Gladys (Ingvartsen) Hoppough. She was married to Jerome “Jerry” Hall May 25th, 1963, also of Ionia MI. Betty was a devoted wife for 43 years before the untimely passing of Jerry in 2006. Throughout her life she was an exceptional, supporting, and loving Wife, Mom, and Grandma. Betty enjoyed spending time with family, baking, cooking, reading and enjoying nature's beauty.

Survived by her children Benjamin E Hall, Jerome “Jake” (Gretchen) Hall, and Betty Jo (Justin) Ford. Grandchildren Benjamin J. Hall, Mason Hall, Katie Hall, Autumn Hall, Jessie (Ethan) Chapp, Madison Ford, and Ethan Ford. Great Grandchildren Clover, and Naomi Dacus. Loving friends of the family Bobbie DeChamps, Savannah and Easton DeChamp as well as Kellie Stank and the many others Betty welcomed to her home and table.

Betty will be laid to rest next to her husband on what would have been their 61st wedding anniversary. All are welcome to join the family and say a final earthly goodbye at Balcom Cemetery 469 W Tuttle Rd, Ionia MI on May 25th, 2024, at 2pm.
