Allison was born in Richmond, Virginia to Patrick Brennan and Randee Brennan (Anderson). She grew up in Hazlet, New Jersey. Allison graduated from Raritan High School with the class of 2006. Following high school, Allison moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where she attended Florida Atlantic University and received her nursing degree. During her time in Florida, Allison would meet the love of her life, and future husband, David Benjamin Conroy (from Haslett, Michigan) in 2010. Ben and Allison welcomed two beautiful children to their family, Mimi Laurae (2017) and Brennan Benjamin (2020). Allison was a liver transplant recipient, as well as a kidney transplant recipient on two occasions. Diagnosed with Hyperoxaluria Type II at an early age, Allison underwent her first dual-transplant surgery at only 17. Despite her many health challenges, Allison was a strong, courageous warrior and was an inspiration to all that knew her. Allison most recently worked as a nurse at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan and mentored nursing students at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. She gave back to her community by participating in multiple charities that supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation and organ transplant efforts.
Allison had a bright, shining spirit, a beautiful smile, and all who knew her relished in her contagious laughter, outpouring of love, and positive impact on their lives. Allison loved her life and her greatest joys included spending time with her husband, beautiful children, and friends and family. In her free time, Allison enjoyed baking with her daughter and weekend outings with her family in Michigan.
She is preceded in death by her father, Patrick Brennan. (2010)
