Robert C. Nordstrom

Robert C. Nordstrom, 78, of East Hartford and Glastonbury, beloved husband for 39 years to Doris (Boucher) Nordstrom, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Born in Hartford on August 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Edward and Clemmie (Beansdeffer) Nordstrom. Robert was a graduate of Glastonbury High School. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by Pratt & Whitney for more than 20 years and also worked part time for Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home for 14 years. He was a member of the Masons, Shriners, Glastonbury Grange #26 and Washington Commandry #1.

In addition to his beloved wife Doris, Robert is survived by two daughters, Sheryl Berube of South Windsor and Theresa Savage and husband James of Texas; two grandsons, Aaron Savage of Idaho and Nathan Savage and wife Rebecca of California; his granddaughter, Katherine Pollard and husband Nathan, stationed in Korea; one great-granddaughter, Ava Lee Savage of Idaho; two brothers, Eddy Nordstrom and wife Darlene of New Jersey and John Nordstrom, as well as many extended family members and friends. Robert is predeceased by his brother William Nordstrom.
