Richard Rick"" William Perrone

Richard “Rick” William Perrone, 58, of East Hartford, beloved son of Ann (Sheridan) Perrone of Westbrook and the late Thomas J. Perrone, Jr., passed away on Tuesday (April 15, 2014). Born in Hartford on April 14, 1956, he had lived in the area his whole life. He was a 1974 graduate of East Windsor High School. Rick owned Northeast Truck Sales and was involved in the trucking industry his entire adult life. He was also a member of the German Club in Broad Brook. In addition to his loving mother, Rick is survived by three brothers, Thomas J. Perrone, III and his wife Carol of Old Saybrook, Mark Perrone and his wife Carol Ann of Lawrenceville, GA and Russell J. Perrone and his wife Angel of Orange Park, FL; his significant other, Kim Williams of South Windsor; his close personal friend, Sammy Cirikovic, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Stephen Michael Perrone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday (April 23) at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 36 Cambridge Dr., East Hartford. Burial will be private and there are no calling hours. Donations in Rick’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2080 Silas Deane Hwy., 2nd Floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
