Raymond Edward Schultz

Ray was born June 28, 1936 in Middletown, CT to the late Burton and Mary (Bugaj) Schultz. Ray was a loving dad and husband with a gentle nature.

He was a member of the East Hartford Senior, St. Edmund Campion Social Club and a parishioner of St. Christopher Church and enjoyed the morning Mass on ORTV daily. He loved watching sports, especially UCONN basketball.

He is also survived by a daughter, Mary Pikora and husband Paul, son Raymond Schultz, Jr. and his wife Tami. Grandson Jacob Schultz. A brother Frank Schultz and sister JoAnne Blancato and her husband James. As well as a loving extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and granddaughter Rachael Schultz.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 11 am at St. Christopher Church, 538 Brewer Street, East Hartford. Raymond’s family will receive relatives and friends prior to mass from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the D’Esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Raymond’s name may be made to Office of Radio and Television, Archdiocese of Hartford, 15 Peach Orchard Road, Prospect, CT 06712-1052.
