Joel Gonzalez- Vega

Joel attended Job Core in Hartford. He was devoted to his family. He had a gift for making others laugh with his silly sense of humor. He will be most remembered for his constant smile and cheerful demeanor. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

In addition to Joel’s parents, he is survived by his brothers, Pedro Gonzalez and Warner Crosby; his sisters, Lydia Gonzalez and Kara Crosby; his grandparents, Carmen and Bernard Thomas; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 10:00am at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108, friends are welcome to gather at 9:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are on Friday, November 24, 2011, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, at the funeral home.
