Thanks so much to everyone who's written here. I hope to see you all on Friday.

In the 1940's, I went to the same Sunday School as Diana in Buffalo, New York.  I would walk to Sunday School alone, and very often Diana's Mom and Dad would drive me home.  I was about 13 or 14, and it was probably out of their way, but it never seemed to bother them.  I will always remember their kindness.

Many years later, when we were both married and no longer in Buffalo,  my husband was on the Board of The Open Gate, a retirement home for Christian Scientists in Bay Shore, LI,  when Diana was interviewed and hired as Administrator of The Open Gate.  Diana served very ably for seven   years.  She later told me that it was "the hardest and most rewarding thing she ever did."

I have known Diana since we were teens together in Buffalo, NY.  I was in her wedding party when she married Harris Miller Murray.  We maintained our friendship together over the years as we married, followed careers, had families and shared many ups and downs -- happy moments and challenges.  Needless to say I will miss her as we were close friends for so many years.   My sincere condolences to Julie and David, their families and the many friends she has made over the years.  "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies"  Prov. 31:10.  That's you, Diana.  Rest in peace.

Many years ago I met Diana and Harris at J.B. Williams Park in Glastonbury while they were walking her dog.  Lately I would see her at the "Green" on Hubbard Street where we would walk and talk. I'll always remember her as a wonderful and kind lady. Deepest condolences to her family.

We met Diana at the Glastonbury Community Center Monday Afternoon bridge game.  Diana loved to play bridge and she was always upbeat.  It was fun to be around Diana. Diana really distinguished herself in her dress. It was always neat and coordinated.  Our love to her family.  We shall miss Diana. Flo and Brian

On behalf of the Glastonbury Community Center Bridge Club,  we would like to extend our sincere condolences to Diana's family.  Always dressed in her beautiful matching outfits, Diana would join us every Monday afternoon with her infectious smile and eagerness to master the game. She was a classy lady and a good friend to all.  We will miss her!

I met Diana at a bridge game in Glastonbury, and we continued to see each other often at bridge.  We also shared great love for our dogs.  I feel that I have lost a dear friend.  May she rest in peace.

Diana was a big part of my life when I lived in Glastonbury. One year she and Harris came  for New Year's Eve with the other members of our bridge group and in 2002 they attended my 60th birthday party. My fondest memories are of the summer concerts on the Hubbard Green which Diana and I attended together for years. Emma always went with us and was sometimes as much of an attraction as the band itself! Diana was a dear friend and confidant.
