Charles William Davis, age 71, of East Hartford, beloved husband of Irene Davis, passed away on Friday, June 30th, 2024 at Hartford Hospital. Charles was born in Norwood, NC to his parents, Weldon and Daisy Mae (Ballard) Davis.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Michael Davis and Derick Lee; his two daughters, Ashley Ross and Desirae Davis; his five brothers and five sisters and six grandchildren. Charles was predeceased by his son, James Lee.
Visitation will be held on July 9th, 2024 from 9:30-11:00AM, at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford, CT 06108. Burial with full military honors will follow in the CT State Veteran Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT.
