Carolyn "Tee" Sue (Couture) Campbell

Carolyn S.“Tee” (Couture) Campbell, 73, of Andover, CT, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2023 holding the hands of her beloved husband, Mike, and daughter, Alison. Tee was born on June 23, 1949 to the late Wilfred and Mary Couture. She spent her childhood and most of her adult life living in East Hartford, CT. She graduated from Penny High School in 1967 and began working at Pratt & Whitney.

On July 4, 1970, Tee married the love of her life, Mike Campbell. They created a life together and welcomed their daughter, Alison to the family in 1978. Tee was a stay at home mom until Alison started school and she began her career with Hartford Public Schools and retired with 25 years of service. Retirement left her the time to do what she loved best, spend time with her family, especially her grandsons and cook. Tee was a phenomenal cook and baker.

Tee is survived by her doting and loving husband, Mike Campbell and daughter, Alison Campbell Welles, daughter-in-law Brynn Welles and the lights of her life, 10 year old grandsons, Cody and Zachary Welles. In addition, brother, Mike Couture and wife Judy; sister Patricia Beckley and husband Don; brother-in-law Gary Campbell and wife Linda and sister-in-law Edra Campbell.

Tee was an amazing Aunt to Kevin and wife Christine (Hunter, Hannah, Abby); Crissy and husband Dave (Ryan); Don and wife Ashley (Samuel, William, Kristen, Harper); Michael and wife Camry (Leia, Luke); Lori and husband Scott (Morgan); Joni and late husband Randy (Alex); Mark and wife Autumn (Asher); Rhonda (Jay, Jessica, Jordan); Chris and wife Tricia (Kagan, Gee, Jade, Jozey); Brandee and husband Chuck (Taylor, Brooke).

Tee also leaves behind the best friends who were family, nicknamed The Gang. Mike and Janice Richards; Laraine and late husband Mike Fiereck; Melissa and John Weaver. There are a host of friends who loved and cherished Tee. All who knew her will cherish their memories of what a wonderful person she was.

Tee was predeceased by her parents and her brother-in-law Jack Campbell.

Calling hours for Tee will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave, East Hartford, Connecticut 06108.
