Angela J. (Bramanti) Forcucci, 95, formerly of East Hartford and Glastonbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by her caring family on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Manchester Manor. She was the loving wife of the late Sam Forcucci. Born in Hartford on October 25, 1924, a daughter of the late Francisco and Lucia (Cantone) Bramanti, she had been a life-long resident of the East Hartford/Glastonbury area. Prior to her retirement, Angela was a Senior Sales Lady for many years at the former Hat Outlet Store, Main Street, Hartford. A devout Catholic, Angela would pray the rosary daily and was a former faithful communicant of St. Paul’s Church, Glastonbury. She was a stubborn Italian with a sense of humor, a wonderful cook, and a card player. Angela would bake her apple pie and pistachio cake for family and friends every time she was asked. She would also love to make her visits to the casinos to play her favorite slot machines, yet she will be most remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and a caring friend.
Angela is survived by her son, Joseph Forcucci and his wife, Robin, of Maryville, TN; her daughter-in-law, Margery (Barton) Forcucci; a son-in-law, Scott Stumpf of Enosburg Falls, VT; eight cherished grandchildren, Rebecca, Daniel, Erik, Amanda, Abbi, Adam, Aaron, Andrew, and all of their spouses; six adored great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Along with her beloved husband and parents, Angela was predeceased by two sons, Frank Forcucci of East Hartford and Samuel Forcucci of Southington; a daughter, Lucy Stumpf of Enosburg Falls, VT. Angela’s family would like to send a special thank you to Panda, Hospice of Vernon VNA, and CCCI for their sincere care they provided Angela and her entire family.
