Mark A. Becker

Mark A. Becker, age 76, of East Aurora, New York, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 14, 2023. He was the firstborn of six children to Rosalie E. and Theodore A. Becker, Jr. Mark graduated from Bishop Timon High School and turned his talent for welding into a professional career in the construction industry, which he did over the course of many decades until his retirement. He was a master welder and a member of Laborers’ Local 210. At Immaculate Conception Church in East Aurora, he was a member of the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed gardening, reading, fixing things, and conversing with people everywhere he went. He was the loving father of Kristina (Joseph) Lavelle of Freedom, and Katherine (Jacob) Stanton of Arcade. He was the dear stepfather of Mark Owens of Arcade. He was the proud grandfather of Cameron, Rosalie and Zoey. He was the cherished brother of Barbara, Lyndall Judd, Laurence, T. Jeffrey (Sherry), and Virginia Becker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present on Monday from 4-7 PM at the WOOD FUNERAL HOME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Parish, East Aurora at 10:00 AM. Please assemble at the church.
