Eleanor (nee Drew) Schohn, of Williamsville, NY entered into rest on December 25, 2023 at age 97. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, James (in 1952) and her cherished daughter, Elizabeth (in 1960). She is survived by her treasured daughter, Dr. Mary Schohn and her husband, Dr. Larry Lantinga; her grandchildren, Elizabeth “Betsy” (Scott) Behrend and Martin “Mac” (Sonya) Murrett and her beloved great-grandchildren, Henry and Olive Murrett and Ruby Behrend. Eleanor, lovingly known as Beka to her friends and family, worked as a Medical Office Manager until her retirement. She then became a volunteer at the local library and senior citizens center, while improving her golf game. She was an avid, most would say an excellent, bridge player. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Relatives and friends may visit DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst, NY 14051 on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10-11am.
