Susie Hall Barefoot

Susie Hall Barefoot, age 64 of Weeks Rd., Dunn died Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield.

Susie was born February 26, 1958 in Wayne County the daughter of the late Jasper Hall and Hilda Lee Hall and is preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Johnson.

Susie worked at Morganite until they closed, and attended Cumberland Street Baptist Church.

Susie was a giving person always thinking of others, she loved taking care of other people, especially her grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She enjoyed the outdoors working in the yard and gardening. She loved butterflies and enjoyed going to the beach.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Essinger officiating.

She is survived by: Her Husband: Johnny Ray Barefoot of Dunn, NC.

A Son: John Derrick Barefoot & (wife) Katie of Hickory, NC.

A Daughter: Brandy Whitley & (husband) Steve of Smithfield, NC.

Grandchildren: Colton Whitley, Tate Whitley, Peyton Whitley, Tyler Whitley, Hattie Barefoot, Lila Barefoot and Shep Barefoot.

A Brother: Charles Spence of Smithfield, NC.

The family will receive friends Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn. One hour prior to the service.
