Lois Wood Dorman

Dunn, NC Mrs. Lois Wood Dorman, age 83 of Fuquay-Varina, formerly of Dunn died Saturday Morning, November 26, 2016 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Dorman was born in Johnston County on December 28, 1932 the daughter of the late Harvey Wood & Viola Johnson Wood and is preceded in death by her husband, Alex Robert Dorman, Jr. and a brother, Delma Wood. Mrs. Dorman was a member of Long Branch Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife. She lived most of her life in the Dunn Area moving to Windsor Point Retirement Home in Fuquay-Varina for the last 3 years. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Long Branch Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Phillip Newton officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn. She is survived by: A Son: Dale Dorman & (wife) Tammy of Dunn, NC; 3 Daughters: Jan Ellis & (husband) Van of Apex, NC; Pam Jennings of Dunn, NC andJenny Ray & (husband) Robert of Cary, NC; A Brother: Sam Wood of Georgia and a Sister, Joyce Clifton of Clayton, NC; 11 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandchild.
