Verna Mae Murphy (nee Jarvis)

Verna lived a full and wonderful life.

She was a loving wife and best friend to Glenn for 69 years.

She was a devoted and caring mother and mother in law to Craig (Evelyn), Joy (Mike), Carol, Gay (Ari) and Joan (Mark).

Verna/Nana cherished and was so proud of her thirteen grandchildren.

Nana also always enjoyed time spent with her ten great grandchildren. They brought her many smiles and much happiness. Verna will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

It is difficult to say goodbye to someone we love and cherish, but she will always remain with us in our hearts.

Verna was Predeceased by her husband Glenn (2011), her son Craig (2010) and her granddaughter Carly (1981)

Due to current public health concerns there will be a private family interment.

In lieu of flowers donations to Emmanuel House Hospice or a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family.

Thank you to the staff of Emmanuel House Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Verna in her final days. Thank you to the Georgian Retirement Home workers who were so kind to Verna.

And a special thank you to the amazing attention and care from Dr. Colin Stevenson, who was mom's family Doctor for many years.
