On the morning of June 18th, 2015, Stephen Joseph Kennedy passed peacefully in his sleep at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Stephen leaves behind his wife of many years, Sharon MacDonald, daughter Kathleen Kennedy, son Brock Kennedy and daughter-in-law Lisa Kennedy. Retired teacher for the HWDSB, spending the majority of his career at Barton Secondary school in Hamilton. Stephen touched the lives of many people through his coaching of baseball and hockey, and positive attitude. He was a father, husband, son, brother, a friend, a mentor, a traveller, a musician and artist, a writer, photographer, athlete, cook, and radio personality at CFMU. He will be greatly missed by many but never forgotten. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 23rd from 7pm-9pm at Marlatt Funeral Home, 195 King St. W in Dundas, Ontario. A family only service will be held the following day. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John's Kitchen and the Working Centre in Kitchener Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
