Loving husband to Late Peggy (d. 1991), and loving Dad to Late Bill (Barb), Cathy Quinlan (Brian), and Late John and proud grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 8. He was a wonderful grandfather and great-grandfather. He will also be fondly remembered by his wife Pearl Campbell and her family, Late David, Michelle, Stephanie Hill (Michael), and Brent.
Norman was born and raised on Manitoulin Island. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces at the age of 20; serving in Halifax, N.S. He came to the Hamilton area to find work and retired after 43 years at Snetsinger Lumber (later Cashway) in Dundas. He enjoyed bowling, curling, and golfing and he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and Airforce Club. Until the end, he enjoyed his walks in the Dundas Park; especially with his great-grandson Connor, always stopping at the old oak tree and smiling at everyone he passed. He will be greatly missed.
The family wish to thank the staff at Juravinski Hospital for their compassionate care.
