Joseph Purchase

Joe leaves behind his wife of 67 years Peggy, his son Russ (Tammy), grandson’s Taylor and Mitchell (Kara) and a great grandson, Aven, his sister Bobbie and family in England, nephew Simon and great niece JoJo.

Joe immigrated to Canada with his wife Peggy and daughter Linda (deceased 2011) in 1958. He was a veteran of the Palestine Police, 1946-1948, a London Bobby, 1949-1958 and a Dundas OPP from 1958-1962.

Joe was also one of the founding members of the Greensville Optimist and a lifelong member of the Masonic Lodge – Valley 100.

The family would like to express our thanks to our family doctor Anna Marie Emili, the amazing staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice Hamilton, the incredible nurses and PSW’s of LHIN CCAC and Dr. Dhesy.

Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are welcome to attend a Celebration of His Life at Marlatt Funeral Home Family Centre, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Tuesday, March 27th from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
