James Donald Crickmore

Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on October 27, 2011 in his 81st year. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Rayner) in August 2003. Devoted and cherished father of Don (Brenda), Ted (Debbie), Rob (Lynda) and Liz (Eric). Loving grandfather of Jamie (Lisa), Erin (Grant), Matthew, Laura and Tara. Proud great- grandfather to Andrew. Predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Ethel Crickmore and inlaws Earland and Elsie Rayner. Loving companion to Dolly, and a very special uncle to Robert (Wanda), and Marcia (Dwight) and their families. He will be deeply missed by his sister Marion Crewson (Bill), and brothers Russell (predeceased Lena and Lois), Harvey (Marge), Harold (Mona), and Ellwood (Heather). Don was a loving brother in law and uncle for both the Crickmore and Rayner families and will be sadly missed by both families. Thank you to the doctors at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic for their great work with Don. The family is especially grateful to the amazing nurses and doctors at Brantford General, 7th Floor Palliative Ward for their care and compassion to Don and family over the past two weeks. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Saturday, October 29th from 7-9p.m., and Sunday, October 30th from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL on Monday, October 31 at 11a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Zion Cemetery, Copetown. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rockton United Church, The Juravinski Cancer Clinic or Brantford General Hospital, 7th Floor Palliative would be appreciated by the family.
