Helen Bos

With great sadness her family announces that Helen passed away peacefully in her 82nd year, on August 27 at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Helen was lovingly attended in her final days by A. John Bos, her husband of 57 years, and by her children Dianne (Harry), Sandy (Jill), Marcia (Graham). A much-loved, devoted grandmother to Chloe, Alija and Trent, she will be deeply missed by her extended family and her many friends at St. Paul’s United Church (UCW) and throughout the Dundas area. In recent years Helen faced illness with inspiring courage and grace. Her family is grateful that until early August she was able to continue to savour the late summer weather at her Dundas home in the Ontario countryside she loved. Her family extends special thanks to Dr. Zbuk and his team at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, for all of their caring and consideration. Visitation will be held at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “SWACKHAMER CHAPEL”, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Thursday, August 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Marlatt Dundas Chapel at 1 p.m. on Friday August 30, 2013.
