Suddenly at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Monday, July 18, 2016 in his 91st year, after a short illness. Predeceased by his beloved wife Marguerite. Dear father of Jack (Diana), Gary (Linda), Janice Schreiber, and James (Gwendolyn). Loving grandfather of Tony, Sean, Arielle and Bethany, and predeceased by Jason Salisbury and Jason Rees. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren. Much loved brother of Hazel McQueen Brown and Ivy Timms of Michigan, and predeceased by Patricia Barevich of Illinois. Guy was a WWII veteran, serving first with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry (home defense) and then with the 1st Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment, in Reconnaissance. The family will receive friends for visitation at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME “SWACKHAMER CHAPEL”, 195 King Street West, Dundas, on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a chapel service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
