Thistlethwaite, Marion Born in Twin Valley Saskatchewan January 21, 1924. Passed away in Ladysmith on June 6, 2011. Predeceased by her husband Wally in 1996. She will be remembered by her children Mavis (Barry) Smith, Ron (Diana), Melvin (Alison), Jean (Harold) Brooks, Gail (Syd) Millsap, Danny (Marja), and Allan, her sister Inez Hill and Sister-in-law Marj Nelson, numerous nieces and nephews and many family and friends. Marion was a happy person who was always willing to help. Her family was most important to her, but she also spent time helping by volunteering for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

There will be a service honouring Marion’s life on July 16, 2011 at the Chemainus Legion at 2:00pm
