Betty is survived by her son Sandy, her daughter Paris and Family in the Cowichan Valley, Lower Mainland and Alberta.
Betty was born in Surrey B.C. and grew up in the area. She met the love of her life, Bill McIvor, in Vancouver. Together they raised their two children and enjoyed many wonderful years of travel, and fun times with Family and friends.
She very much enjoyed Sports, and played baseball and basketball in her younger years and golfed right up to the end of her life.
Betty had a creative and artistic spirit, expressed by painting in various mediums.
She was an active volunteer in her community.
Betty was a vivacious, resilient, loving woman. She was very much a people person, and had great compassion for animals of all kinds.
Betty was a social butterfly, a lover of humanity. She adored her pets, enjoyed her garden and all the beauty that life had to offer her.
She will be forever missed by all who knew her.
