William “Bill” Gustafson, 71, of Duluth passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester following an acute illness. Bill graduated from East High School. Bill, together with his father and brother Robert, operated Gustafson’s Lakeside Bakery on East Superior Street for many, many years.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, George “Ted” and Helen Gustafson, and brothers Robert and Thomas Gustafson.
Bill is survived by his brother, Mark Gustafson; sister, Mary (Thomas) Marshall; sister-in-law, Kathy Gustafson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Lutheran Church of the Good Sheperd. Visitation will continue at 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Lutheran Church of the Good Sheperd. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Duluth.
