Patricia Hansen

Patricia Kathleen (Finnerty) Hansen, 86, of Grand Rapids, MN, died and went home to be with her Savior on January 12, 2018. She was a resident of the Grand View Court at River Grand Senior Living in Grand Rapids.

Patricia (Pat) was born Jan. 24, 1931, in Lincoln, NE, to Thomas and Hazel (Raper) Finnerty and lived there until 1957. She married Leo H. Hansen in 1950, and they enjoyed 52 years together until his death in 2002. She has resided in Lincoln, NE; Britt, MN; CA; Duluth, MN; and has been in Grand Rapids since 2003. Pat was an LPN in the E.R. at the Virginia Regional Medical Center in Virginia, MN, for 23 years and a former member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Duluth. She loved camping, fishing, gardening, sewing, and bird watching.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, and by her brother, James Finnerty.

She is survived by her children: Judi Clark of McKinley, MN; Ted (Cindy) Hansen of Duluth, MN; and Bruce (Margo) Hansen of Bovey, MN; 11 grandchildren, 24+ great-grandchildren, and 12+ great-great grandchildren; a niece Susan (Ted) Williams; and a nephew, Dennis Finnerty, both of Lincoln, NE.

Visitation: 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Faith Baptist Church, 5693 Maple Grove Road, Hermantown, MN, Pastor Brian Wiita officiating. Interment will be in Oneota Cemetery.
