He was born in July of 1956 in Tacoma, Washington to Eddie Don and Jeannine Louise Brumble.
Mike attended and graduated from Latta High School in Latta, South Carolina. Mike enlisted in the Air Force in 1974 and was discharged in 1978. He then attended the Duluth Vocational Technical School and graduated with a degree in both Welding and Drafting. On July 6, 1981 Mike was united in marriage with Peggy Jane Leonard at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Proctor. Mike was employed by Marquip Ward United Manufacturing in Phillips, Wisconsin. He worked as a master pipe fitter welder until he became disabled in 2006. Mike had many hobbies depending on what season or mood he was in, there was the fishing phase, the golfing phase, 4 wheeling phase, then the hunting phase. He had a unique flare for life and outlook on the world. Mike was a man of few words but of many distinct looks, and one liners. He was the big hard exterior with the mushy interior. He passed his time with coin collecting and riding his Harley.
He was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Eddie.
Mike is survived by his wife, Peggy; son, Eric (Tami) of Park Falls, Wisconsin; daughter, Jody (Bryan) Sorensen of Chetek, Wisconsin; two grandsons, Kyle and Kody Mareno of Butternut, Wisconsin; his mother, Jeannine Brumble of Scottsdale, Arizona; sister, Luann (Ray) Stark of Carefree, Arizona; many nieces and nephews; and his best buddy, Ottis.
Visitation: 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm Memorial Service on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N. 56th Ave. W., Duluth with Pastor John Deitz officiating. Private family inurnment will follow at a later date.
