John Lee Pesola

John Lee Pesola, 67, of Duluth died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at home surrounded by family. He was born to John and Ermi (Maki) Pesola August 28, 1945 in Duluth. After 40 years, John retired as a maintenance worker for Georgia Pacific. He has been married to Linda Velo for 13 years ago.

John enjoyed the outdoors; including fishing, four-wheeling in the woods, bicycle rides, and walking.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepdad, Sulo; mother and father-in-law; aunt, Nellie; and cousins, Guy and Donald Pesola.

John is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Amy (David) Muellner, Rob (Kathy) Kreth, Katie (Ahmed Ali) Anderson, Ryan Bruns, and Johnny Pesola; 13 grandkids; and 5 great grandkids. He is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Vineyard, Arrowhead Rd, at 12 p.m. Visitation one hour prior to service at the church.
