Janice Stretar

She was born April 12, 1935 in Superior, WI to parents, George and Alma Dousette.

Jan married Kenneth Stretar, and through this union had two children, Dayna and Drake.

Jan enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

She owned Jan Stretar Interior Design for over 20 years. After retirement, Jan helped raise her grandchildren, Paige and Blythe, and generally enjoy all that life had to offer.

Jan is preceded in death by her son, Drake; parents, and brothers, Bob and George.

She is survived by her daughter, Dayna (Robert) Phelps; and granddaughters, Paige and Blythe Vizanko.

Visitation will be held from 10 am until the 11 am service on Thursday, April 12 in Elim Lutheran Church, 6101 Cody Street in Duluth. Private family interment will be in Oneota Cemetery.
