Evelyn R. Rasmusen

Evelyn was born on May 21, 1909 in Duluth to Rasmus and Anna (Olson) Rasmusen. She lived in Barnum, Proctor and Kenwood. She graduated from Proctor High School and attended business school.

She spent most of her working career at St. Louis County Federal Savings & Loan.

Evelyn was a long-time member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, and a member of several organizations.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Edna, Ingrid, Margrete, Ruth: half sister, Karen and half brother, Louie.

Besides being survived by many nieces and nephews, she is also survived by great; great-great; and great-great-great nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a lot of great people who cared about her.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until the 1 :00 p.m.funeral serviceThursday, February 16, 2012 in the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, 2701 W. 3rd St., Duluth, MN 55806. Burial will be at Sunrise Memorial Park.
