She was born in Duluth on October 13, 1944, and grew up in Normanna Township. Emily attended Clover Valley High School in the class of ’62. She worked for many years as a hairdresser and as a certified nursing assistant. Emily enjoyed dancing, camping, gardening, home decorating, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil Hiltunen and Sylvia (Hiltunen) Culas; her son, Scott Gene Davey; and ex-husbands, Gary Davey and Roger Blomberg.
Emily is survived by her husband Bruce Lind; daughter Robbin (Kyle) Tuominen; sisters, June (Denny) Rabold and Teresa (Dale) White; step-sons, Kurt (Cheryl) Lind and Toralf Lind; step-daughter Anna Lind; grandsons, Brenton and Bradley Tuominen; step-grandchildren, Chelsey Collins, Torianne, Nicolette, Kai, Kaleb, and Klayton Lind; nieces and nephews; and special friend Penny Wilmers.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm on Thursday, March 22nd in Jarvi Dowd Funeral Home, 925 E. 4th St. in Duluth. Visitation will continue from 10 am until the 11 am service on Friday, March 23 in Jarvi Dowd Funeral Home. Interment will be in Normanna Cemetery.
