He was born to Kathleen and Ray Logergren on July 4th, 1950 in Duluth, MN. In 1966, Dale served as the bat boy for the Duluth's Dukes baseball team having won an essay contest. He enjoyed traveling with the team for the summer. Dale was a gratuate of Denfeld High School class of 1968 and attended St.Cloud State University. He was a veteran, serving in the Army as a Medic. After the military he attended the College of St. Scholastica where he played on their first men's hockey team. Dale worked for the US Sugar Corp in Florida and for many years as a locomotive engineer for the DM&IR. He retired from the Canadian National Railway having been nominated for the President's Award for Excellence.
Dale was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity. He loved to fish, golf, travel, and spend time with his grandchildren.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Barb; children Kris (Steve) Henry, Kathy (Tim) Taylor and Chelsea Logergren; grandchildren Jonathan, Madeline, Morgan, Nicodemus, Emily, Zachariah and Camden; siblings John Logergren, Gary (Debra) Logergren, Lynne (Gary) Bordson, Patti (Darin) Schuman; and many nieces and nephews.
