Chester Erwin Berggren

Chester was born in Duluth on June 14, 1928 to Carl and Jennie Berggren.

He served his country during the Korean Conflict as a Sargent in the Army.

Chester was united in marriage to Jeanette Hossalla on July 27, 1957. He worked in the sheet metal iron working trade in various shops in the Duluth area.

Chester was an avid fisherman, hunter and trap shooter. He was a member of the Jack Meade Gun Club for many years. He was also a member of the American Legion in Proctor and Port Wing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette; parents; and brother, Cliff.

Chester is survived by his daughter, Cathy; son, Bruce (Jane); granddaughters, Katie (Brian) Hill, Jennie Magnuson, Amanda Berggren; and sisters, Marion Carlson and Doris Skorich.
