Carole was born October 14, 1929 in Britton, SD on the family farm to William and Florence Dyer. She attended Britton High School where she enjoyed being in musicals, choir and the head majorette.
Carole moved to Duluth, MN in 1948 to attend Duluth Business University. She soon met and fell in love with John Sipsas. They married in 1952 and the couple moved to Torrence, CA. They had three children; Billy, Debbie and Colleen. After the family moved to Tulsa, OK, John suddenly passed away from a heart attack.
Carole then returned to Duluth, MN with her three children where she met and fell in love with Don Liston. They married in 1971 and Carole became a mother to five more children; Gayle, Donette, Shelly, Jack and Genelle. She also embraced her new role as grandmother.
Carole was happiest when surrounded by her family at the lake home in Gordon, WI. She also enjoyed bowling, cribbage, cats, golfing, singing and traveling. She was a grandmother and great-grandmother to many and knew how to make each of them feel special.
Carole is preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Dick, Fran, Lloyd and Bob; first husband, John Sipsas; second husband, Don Liston; and sons, Jack Liston and William Sipsas.
Carole will be dearly missed by her brother, Ken (Maria) Dyer; daughters, Gayle Jazdzewski, Donette (Bob) Peck, Shelly (Carl) Bleier, Debbie (Ken) Johnson, Colleen Brandt and Genelle Schutz; grandchildren, Tim (Michelle), Korey (Carrie) and Jon (Jamie) Jazdzewski; Joel (Lisa) and Jeremy (Michelle) Peck; Renae (Ken) Duncan and Sabrina (Spence) Parkerson; Steve, Jackie and Danielle LaFave; Johnny (Scott) Frost and William Brandt; Dustyn and Brianna Schutz. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
